Training task (Luke, 10, 4 and Trance)
He'd listened to the Librarian's talk and demonstration, still trying to take it all in. He wasn't as completely surprised as he surmised some of the others in the room might be. It was strange and new, but his life hadn't exactly been normal since he'd left Tattooine all those years ago. Most of the beings, human or otherwise, were strangers to him, although he was still coming to grips that somehow, Tarkin was here as well. He had what Han would call a bad feeling that they were going to squabble a lot before this was through. Part of Luke still wanted to kill the Imperial, after what he'd done to Leia and Alderaan. But, a Jedi did not seek revenge. He'd probably just do his best to stay out of Tarkin's way when they were all in here and not get into too many fights.
The books, apparently, were like portals or gates, passages to different worlds. The one his fingers ended up opening was...great, a farm. Just about the lowest thing on his list to see. Of course, raising crops and animals was a different thing than moisture farming in the desert, but he suspected there'd be some similarities, too.
He'd been told it was best to go about this with partners, so he'd talked to a few of others and there were four of them now as they prepared to step through the portal.

Of course, not going to say anything to himself as Ten notices that Ten himself can't feel his own link and gathers that Four can't either.
However, Trance just had to come along for the ride too - granted it's nice seeing people who want to help but Ten's first meeting with Trance is a mix-bag and most importantly, whatever though Trance or on her stated that Ten 'chose the name The Doctor' - needs to protect himself before being able to talk to himself alone.
As far as himself hurting about the loss of Rose - apparently needs to be guarding himself now. If The Doctor is at all lucky, no one will ask names. If not - well he's got an ace up his sleeve or rather psychic paper for his other self. If Trance didn't already know that Ten calls himself The Doctor - Ten wouldn't be so concerned but can't backpedal now on her.
Staring out at the scene before them, it appears to look like Mid- Evil Earth but when exactly The Doctor can't say and wonders if the book they stepped into now was Robin Hood.
After hearing the Head Librarians voice echo through the place, which none of this so far is on the strange meter. Expect his other self there strange and shouldn't be happening, Ten remarks,
"Alright. Let's get to work." As Ten eyes each of the other three, "We should probably divide up the tasks. Hmmm?"

This is also the signal for the Doctors to jump back in when they're ready (after your reply)

Ten and Four
But Trance just had to mention disease. Of course, she did have a point. However, Ten found it unlikely that himself, Four and Trance not being human wouldn't become ill here. Luke on the other hand - The Doctor isn't sure about. Ten and Luke do need to chat later.
Trance also pinged for Ten the way The Doctor's fifth life died with Spectrox toxaemia. One of the worst deaths The Doctor has had (and one of the few illness that can kill even him) as that had been slow to die but at least then - The Doctor had been able to save his companion.
Not like Rose. Ten's brown eyes dull. Which he's still hurting from and hasn't found someone to talk too. Ten was going to talk to Trance about Rose but decided against it when Trance had proven to have some kind of knowing demon in her. That Trance herself may not be aware of.
Ten slowly peers back at Four with broken eyes. How The Doctor had been so young. So innocent. One the main qualities in why Ten loved Rose around him.
"I am who you think I am. I've already met Trance before in the Library. She's great on the surface but she's possessed by some creature," Ten empathizes the next sentence, "That knows we chose to be called The Doctor."
Ten continues to eye Four because he knows how you're going to die too.
"Whut's your most recent adventure?"
