1st Period--Arriving.
Ok, maybe he had taken one too many hockey pucks to the head. Casey groaned as he sat up slowly, wondering what had knocked him out this time. Brown eyes widened behind the skull-hockey mask as he took in the main hall. "Aw man...Is this the nightmare where my teacher's been replaced by a Kraang and is making us write essays again?" Clearly a teenager's voice, as he gets to his feet.
At least he was in his vigilante gear and ready to fight if it came to it. Still, this place almost reminded him of the sewer tunnels around the lair, except for all the books. Donnie'd love it. Turning in a wide circle to take it all in, before spotting the main reception desk.
Alright--libraries weren't his favorite places to go, but he had been in them. Occasionally. When forced to, or lose his spot on the team. Moving over to the desk, keeping his mask down for now. "Excuse me!" Not bothering to keep his voice down either, as he looked for anyone who might provide him answers.

Ears lowering at the volume of Jones' voice, the Cat sighed. Shouting in the Library wasn't a problem except the Cat's ears were sensitive. Really, some people had no sense of manners.
Sighing, he stood, stretching his front legs in front of him and arching his back before hopping down. He sauntered over to the desk and jumped on top of it so he was closer to Jones' height. "You will be excused if you use a tone of voice that is better suited for those who have a unique hearing range."

His head tilted as he stared at the feline, trying to figure out if this was another mutant or part of the dream or what. Finally he shrugged, crossing his arms casually. "I'm not really one for whispering..." But he did lower the volume a bit.

"Is it like normal library rules?" Like keeping your voice down.

"How do you enforce the no fighting thing, if you get people who are enemies?" Actually it was a good question. He had no intention of harming anyone who didn't deserve it...

This reminded him of the type of questions the HYDRA agent had asked. "Whatever conflicts or vendettas you have in your past life are to be forgotten here. You are here to protect something greater than your home. Your grievances were left behind for the greater good. The patrons will coexist peacefully while within the Library. Only those who have promised to help us and are committed to that promise are brought here."
Curling his tail around his paws, he stared at Jones with a Sphinx like expression. "I would rather not be forced to punish our patrons for infractions that could be easily avoided."

Talking cat that was obviously not a mutant? Strange enough that Casey wasn't going to tangle with it. Not when it was on his side, and clearly wanted him to help with things.
"Anything else I should know?" Flipping up the Hockey-mask to get a better look. Never mind the skull-face paint underneath; vanilla human here otherwise.

Pausing, he let those words sink in before continuing. "What would you like to know about? I will answer what questions I may but others are off limits."
no subject
Let it not be said Casey had NO sense...
"So we're guests? Where're we staying? Is there like a hotel in here or something?"
no subject
"There are rooms available for our patrons. Each has a the basics necessary for each being." Using his tail, he pointed in the correct direction where Jones would find some of the rooms. "There is a market where you may purchase what things you might need."

Although once he set eyes on the noisy person he had to wonder why this person.
no subject
"Hey!" Yep, still his normal speaking volume. "You know what's going on here?"
no subject
Sebastian started to step out, open his mouth to speak, and then realized: how did he know this person had been invited here?
"I suppose that depends."
no subject
Casey asked in response, faint challenge in the tone. He kept his hands where the other could see them though. Posture open, even if he was still hiding in his vigilante gear.
"I mean, I suppose if it's a dream it doesn't matter. If it's not though, I'd kind of like to know so I can get back to what I was doing?" Gesturing to the side with his right hand. "Unless waking up in a strange place that looks like a giant library is normal for you, in which case you have one strange life, man."
no subject
"I'm not the one wearing a B-rated horror movie costume so I don't think you're in a position to comment on strange."
no subject
Besides, his costume was NOT B-rated. It worked plenty well for what he needed it for.

Assessing, sizing up.
If this was a dream, or nightmare, wouldn't he have woken up by now? Or was this when the evil robo ninjas would appear? Because that'd be cool!
no subject
It was a little late to be wishing he'd stayed behind the bookshelf. Sebastian considered trying to contact someone more capable of handling this person who was starting to make him very uncomfortable. Who dressed like that?! And who refused to remove their mask?! Why was even wearing one?!
"There are others here, Mr. Whatever."
Just to make it clear Sebastian wasn't alone.
no subject
Flipping up the hockey-mask; not that it helped much, considering he'd painted his face too.
"Don't you know it's rude to ask about the mask?" Wasn't that the comic book rule? Come on!
no subject
Yes. He was being just a tiny bit of a brat about this. But this person was stubborn and rude.
no subject
Tilting his head to the other side, as he continued speaking mostly to himself. Not that he'd lowered the volume... "Although, that would explain the whispering..." A grin split the painted face, and he pounded one fist into his hand. "Alright, I KNEW I had a destiny."
Clearly this was an exciting prospect, Sebastian almost all but forgotten. "First it was evil robo ninjas! Then, mutating-brain-alien-invasion! Now, it's saving...a...." The excitement had trailed off a bit as the realization hit him. An abrupt turn back to Sebastian, brown eyes narrowing. "Seriously, what AM I supposed to save anyways? All I heard was 'save us'?"
