Whistle while you work... (I couldn't resist)
Who: OPEN!
What: He's getting a little obsessed with the cleaning thing and not realizing it.
When: June 25th
Where: Amongst the shelves of the fiction section... it's really dusty you know.
Warnings:
Notes:
If he really stopped himself to think about it, he would remember that he disliked cleaning. Had Erestor handed him a broom back in Imladris, he would have found a way to decorate it to look like Erestor and left it in a hall to be found by one of the servants. Perhaps... just maybe, he'd done that a few times. So maybe he ended up cleaning out countless stables and working endless hours in the kitchen for his and his twin's antics.
His heart panged at the thought of his missing twin, as he gracefully climbed the shelves to wipe down the books delicately, his long ebony hair tied up in a ribbon. So... he started to sing very quietly as he moved over the shelf, careful not to miss anything. He never realized just how nice and distracting cleaning was... it honestly started to pull his thoughts away from his Ada and brother still back in Middle-Earth.
At some point he removed his armor, leaving a deep blue light tunic in its stead. The armor, though leather, just felt too heavy in that moment. A tiny voice told him he should have heeded the Librarian's words about not being alone in among the books, but the dark haired elf seemed to forget everything while working. In fact, he left his swords neatly against the bottom shelf in exchange for the bucket and rags he used to clean with.

His thoughts strayed away from that of his brother as Elrohir promised to cook for him, smiling warmly at the idea of a home cooked meal made for him by such a lovely creature.
"I would be honored to dine with you over whatever you decide to cook," he mused before he stepped closer, turning slightly as he offered his arm to the elf. "Shall we then?"
Because neither of them were doing anything more important, right? Right. (In the back of his mind, he was chastising himself for not finding Kili but it was a muffled murmur really.)
A chuckle escapes Fili at the compliment, well aware that this was turning into a battle of praise. "Well then I shall have to stay in your company as often as I can, if only to see such a smile every day."

Sliding his hand into the offered arm, he grinned. "Then I should put that together with haste for you." Nodding in affirmation, he realized he would follow the dwarf wherever he led right now if only to just talk to him.
Maybe not all of this was strange. He truly found that he did like the younger's presence more than he ever suspected he could of any but his family.
"I hope that you will do just that." The elf liked the idea of Fili spending time with him often as he could. He truly hoped that he would. "Otherwise I will be quite melancholy should I not see you so often."

"Only after we have experienced the market in full, though," he mused in a matter-of-fact sort of way, smiling not faltering in the least as he started to lead the other towards where he knew the market waited for them.
"I suppose we will have to make our visits together a more common thing, then. I would hate to see any sort of melancholy on your face." Oh the sincerity that his words dripped with. He would do anything to make this elf happy.

"Should my brother ever arrive, we should see if we can play at a little mischief ourselves. It might be a lot of fun actually." Now that... that request came from the heart. Elrohir missed being free. Perhaps that human blood in his veins really pushed for him to be a little less repressed than the rest of his kin.
Even still, he nodded to the mention of truly enjoying the market. "I think that would truly be best." He might have bounced with the excitement, but he did not wish to break the hold of his arm in Fili's.
"We should, indeed. I would love to meet your brother as well." Even though he tried not to linger on the thought, he smiled to himself with another warm blush over paler than even normal skin. "I hope I can return the favor in kind. You have a lovely smile." Did.. he just say that out loud?
