I have you now.

There was no time to figure out who had said that or where the voice had come from before there was sudden darkness around him. Governor Tarkin had been right beside him a moment ago, they had been discussing something, he couldn't recall what, but then there was sand and for a moment they lost sight of each other.

By the time the sand settled he looked around but only saw enough light to just see that he was in some kind of stone passageway. It was hot, it almost felt like he was inhaling sand.

"Tarkin- " he heard the sounds of someone else nearby but a glint of color caught his eye. Someone else was there. "And whoever else is here, I suggest you reveal yourself." His hand strayed to his blaster but didn't draw it just yet. He wanted to see what he was dealing with first.

Well, since their companion was kind enough to blast sand away from them...he smiled politely, turning with military precision to look over the being who had to be a Force-user. Or, if the strange voice was to be believed, they'd been brought together with someone utterly new, with abilities similar, greater, or lesser than the Jedi and Sith he knew.

The smile only warned him to keep an eye on this tall being, as if he wouldn't already. "Thank you for making it possible to see," he said pleasantly enough, since Krennic hadn't bothered using his manners once again. "Perhaps now we might get to those riddles so we may return?"

There is animosity between the two men, Mairon can feel it and-- files it away for later. That, he knows, will be useful, unlike the men themselves. Though he would admit to being mildly curious about them; they were a new creation on Arda when he was taken from there, perhaps he might learn a thing or two about what makes them and be able to use it to his advantage.

"Mmm, you are welcome. Though this place does leave much to be desired by the way of what meets the eye." There is something of a sneer on his face, not that he cared what a place may look like, it was better than the Void that was certain. "I am curious to see what this creature of riddles looks like."

Wants to take it apart, really. Ideas and all that.
