There was no time to figure out who had said that or where the voice had come from before there was sudden darkness around him. Governor Tarkin had been right beside him a moment ago, they had been discussing something, he couldn't recall what, but then there was sand and for a moment they lost sight of each other.

By the time the sand settled he looked around but only saw enough light to just see that he was in some kind of stone passageway. It was hot, it almost felt like he was inhaling sand.

"Tarkin- " he heard the sounds of someone else nearby but a glint of color caught his eye. Someone else was there. "And whoever else is here, I suggest you reveal yourself." His hand strayed to his blaster but didn't draw it just yet. He wanted to see what he was dealing with first.

What they'd been discussing before hardly mattered in the face of the sudden blast of heat and that unfamiliar voice. And someone else unknown with them. Tarkin frowned, drawing in shallow breathes to avoid breathing in the sand he was sure was all around.

"If you'd care to open your eyes, you would see I am right beside you." Oh so neutrally, wasn't he nice? Although, Krennic did have a point of demanding the unknown reveal themselves. Not that he'd ever say as much.

"Perhaps our friend wishes to remain unknown so we might guess?"
