Long dark strands kept falling into his face as he precariously leaned over to get to a hard to reach spot. His determination was not tarnished however. No, he put more effort after a slight, soft motion to tuck his hair behind a pointed ear. A futile effort as it all seemed keen on slipping out of the ribbon.
Not that his annoyance showed in his movements. No, he did not even stop his song.
The only thing that stopped him from his work was the sound of another's voice. A voice that broke through his song and intense concentration that he jumped. A move that ended up causing him to stumbled down from his place on the high shelves. "Oof!" Catching one of the last shelves he slid down, he managed not to look like an entirely accident prone elf.
However, it did make a mess of his hair. Some stayed obediently in the ribbon while the rest fell into his face and scattered over his shoulders. Scrunching his nose, he smoothed his hair from his eyes and suddenly smiled brightly with a touch of laughter in his voice. "Ah! Master Fili! It is truly good to see you." Elrohir, from birth, always had a friendly disposition once you got to know him... but this was even more open and welcoming than he ever allowed himself to be.
A brilliant smile pulled at his lips as his eyes found the dwarf's, the rare, utterly unexpected faint flush kissing at pale cheeks.
