[Open] Irritable raccoon soldier arrives
Who: Rocket Raccoon and YOU~
What: Rocket arrives in the library and is rather displeased.
When: February 13th
Where: Entrance hall, Sci-Fi section
Warnings: ...Angry raccoon
[Arrival]
Rocket really wasn't sure what to make of this. One minute he'd been back on Knowhere getting himself a drink to try and forget everything that had happened for a little bit and the next? The next he was here. In some sort of...was this a library?
His tail twitched irritably as he rubbed at the back of his neck, glancing around the lobby area, ears flicking and turning as he immediately started to take stock of the area. He didn't hear anything right away and the only scents in the air were that of dusty books and...wait. There it was. People. There were other people here somewhere.
Instinctively Rocket rested a paw on one of his pistols while he grabbed his communicator with his other paw and tried to get in touch with someone. Anyone.
"Mister Cosmo? Mantis? Anyone reading me?" he said lowly, releasing the button only to get static. Rocket cursed under his breath and tucked the communicator away, heaving a sigh. "Looks like it's just me. Flarkin' great."
Time to figure out what exactly this place was and how the hell he was going to get out of here. With a paw still on one of his pistols Rocket makes for the main parts of the library, sticking close to the walls and keeping his senses on high alert as he goes.
He wasn't about to let someone get the jump on him.
[Science Fiction Section]
The newly made resident of the library hadn't meant to end up in the section that he did but here he was and Gods was it a little strange. He'd caught sight of a few book titles and several of them had stood out to him, the Half-Worlder pausing to inspect a few of them and that's when he noticed that something was very off about the books.
For one, some of them seemed to..no. No that was crazy.
Rocket's ears laid back as he stepped away from the shelves, eyeing the book that he could have sworn shifted in place warily before he was focusing on the path ahead. One of his laser pistols was in hand now as he moved along, one quiet step after another taking him along the aisle that was definitely labeled Science Fiction.
Weird.
He had almost made it to the end of the row when a low sound caught his attention. His ears perked and he jerked around, pistol lifted as he made to aim at however was behind him--
But it was just a pile of books. In the middle of the aisle.
"...What the flark is going on?" Rocket muttered, eyes narrowing as he slowly lowered the pistol.

Then he picked up something; pausing, head turning in the direction of the ki. Another resident? Starting to move in that direction, and then the echo of words had him jogging a bit. That hadn't sounded like a pleasant echo.
no subject
"Who are you?" Rocket barked out the question, tail flicking as he stared Trunks down--despite being so much shorter than the other.
no subject
Nope, he stops instantly when the weapons are aimed at him, stance loose and ready to move or dodge as needed. Calm--he needed to be calm, as he kept his hands obvious and slightly out. "I could ask you the same....but a better question is how did you get here?" Was this a resident, or someone escaped from the books?
no subject
"I know Kung Fu. Why don't you just go back in that book where you came from," She asked, plainly, nodding to the book behind Rocket.
