Bruce knew something was wrong the moment he woke up. He could feel the rage and anger under his skin, but when he looked at his hand it wasn't turning green, it was covered in fur. He stood up slowly and turned around, his feet were paws....huge furry paws with wicked looking claws. He tried to yell for help but all that came out was a growl roar that sounded garbled to his ears. In one hand...paw he held a rose. A rose losing it's petals and for some reason it made him both sad and angry at the same time. He roared and charged down through the shelves....shelves, wasn't he on a plane a bit ago?

He needed to find...someone or hide he wasn't quite sure which yet.

"Interesting concept," Bruce says with a rumble of amusement, "almost like a time machine and yet not." He sighs and it comes off almost like a dog bark or whine. "Not that I'd want to go back in time for any reason."

"The Librarians haven't mentioned anything about time travel." It was probably possible if they really were connected to multiple realities. Which made him wonder if it was really possible. "If we could go back in time I could find the White Rabbit."

"A rabbit," Bruce says puzzled, "why do you need to find a rabbit. Rabbits can't do anything to you....can they?" He looks a little nervous. "You haven't come across killer rabbits have you?"

"I haven't seen any killer rabbits in the Library. The White Rabbit was dangerous but she wouldn't hurt you. I had a date with the her but I fell down and down." Old memories surfaced, almost replacing the hold Wonderland had on him. "Down into ice. We were supposed to dance."

No. He couldn't dance with the White Rabbit. He had said he'd stop chasing her. "I promised Tony I'd quit chasing the rabbit."

For a moment Bruce understands, Steve means Peggy Carter and he is about to say so when the other non Hulk presence takes over again "Rabbits are food," he agrees, "they make good stew if you can catch them. I don't know why this Tony would want you not to chase them."

Eat the White Rabbit? Steve looked horrified by the idea, his expression strangely young considering his age. "You can't eat her. She talks and dresses like a person so she can't be stew."

This should really seem stranger than it does but not everyone in Wonderland looks human or has human manners. "Tony said I'll get lost if I chase the Rabbit. He promised to explore Wonderland with me."

"What is Wonderland like....do the dishes talk and dance? My dishes talk and dance," Bruce says, "even one of my clocks does that."
