Bruce knew something was wrong the moment he woke up. He could feel the rage and anger under his skin, but when he looked at his hand it wasn't turning green, it was covered in fur. He stood up slowly and turned around, his feet were paws....huge furry paws with wicked looking claws. He tried to yell for help but all that came out was a growl roar that sounded garbled to his ears. In one hand...paw he held a rose. A rose losing it's petals and for some reason it made him both sad and angry at the same time. He roared and charged down through the shelves....shelves, wasn't he on a plane a bit ago?

He needed to find...someone or hide he wasn't quite sure which yet.

The beast growls not at all amused by Tony's antics. However that doesn't mean he isn't happy to see his friend. "You aren't making sense," he rumbles as he slides forward revealing his massive, furry form half bear and half lion. He holds up the rose. "The petals are falling....I need to find someone before they all fall off."

"You could very well, give it a drink of water." Not that he knew really what the fuss was over a wilting rose. Well, something in the back of his head said he knew, and he really should be unnerved by how... fuzzy... Bruce was at the moment.

"Well, things have been a little mad lately... we're all mad here." Purring a literal purr, his tail coiled and the grin grew.

"You've always been a little nuts," Bruce says with a rumbling chuckle. "You have ears and a tail and I'm a beast instead of a Hulk I think we are a little more than mad."

"Do I taste like a nut? How can you then say I am a nut? When I am in actuality, quite mad." Tony snickered at that and sprawled on top of the shelves. "I can disappear, too." With that he vanished from tail to all that was left was his grin that soon disappeared too only to reappear perched closer to Bruce this time."

"A beast... like the Jabberwocky?" Where did that come from?

Beast Bruce turns around confused and slightly annoyed. "Don't do that," he says, "you know I hate being snuck up on." He hates this grouchy feeling right under his skin. "Do I look like a Jabberwatist," he says snappishly.

"I do, indeed, but that makes it all the more fun. After all, I am mad you know... and a mad person would do things that do not make sense." Purring in amusement, his tail swayed behind him. "You know.. the Jabberwocky.. or the Bandersnatch. I think you are much more like a bandersnatch."

"You don't make sense on a good day," Bruce grumbles, "I need to be looking for Belle before the rose falls apart...or I'll be stuck like this for good....you haven't seen a girl with her face buried in a book?"
