Action-Log [Open]---Cleaning up and Organizing
Who: Trunks (Future) and YOU (Open to all.)
What: After dealing with a haunted village and an abyss that feeds on rage, Trunks needs something normal and productive to do. Cleaning and organizing it is!
When:Post-orientation events? (Especially post his)
Where: Main Library--Dorm section
Warnings: Dust? None yet.
After checking in with the Librarians, after his and Sunset's adventure in the book with the butterfly on it and the cursed village and abyss, Trunks needed a distraction. A solo distraction, given the memories and emotions dealt with on their adventure. Wandering in the 'safe' areas but near the main-desk, eventually he found his way to what looked like a dorm section.
This must be where they would all be staying. There were empty name-plates on doors lining a hallway, and looking in one produced what he'd expected. Small rooms with basic furniture, and an attached bathroom. But the furniture was all stacked, and dusty, and linens were folded and left on the bed. Perfect--cleaning and organizing would give him something to do that would be mindless enough, but physically active.
He claimed a room by virtue of leaving his jacket and sword in it, and pulling the furniture down. Chair off the desk, making the bed, and he'd dust his own later. Taking one of the towels, he moved methodically down the hallway. Each room got a thorough dusting, and the beds were made and furniture set right and organized. Not more physically taxing than helping with the shelters he did back home, for those who'd escaped the Androids.
[OOC: Come say hi to a sweaty demi-saiyan doing some house cleaning. Feel free to help him, or not.]

"Yeah; that, and these rooms are probably going to be useful."
Nita looked behind him, appreciative.
"How long have you been at this?"
She wished she'd found these rooms sooner!

A look back at his work, and Trunks honestly wasn't sure how long he'd been at it at this point. Bucket placed, down, one hand moved to rub the back of his neck, a hint of nerves but also as he tilted his head, a bit of a stretch.
"A few hours? I needed the distraction." Okay, yeah definitely needed the distraction, as Trunks rolled his head a bit, then shrugged to loosen his shoulder-muscles with the break.
"I claimed a room at the far end, but otherwise have just been focusing on getting it all cleaned for everyone else."

Nita winced sympathetically at the neck crack.
"From the sound of it, you really needed it. Mind if I join in?"
It was slightly competitive of her, but she also figured it'd be good to keep company; odds were they'd be working together on the whole for a while, and getting to know each other would be important.
That, and it seemed unfair to her for him to do all the work.

"There's...not that much to do really?" Dusting, wiping down, and then making beds and setting up towels. But he wouldn't stop her.
He IS going to take a moment to stretch though, since that had felt good.

She took a moment to go back and fetch her own towel, before coming back to Trunks.
"And- I don't think we've met before, so: hi, my name's Nita Callahan. What's yours?"

She'd feel weird calling him "Mr. Briefs!"
She looked in on the next room.
"You go high, I go low?"
At least the rooms didn't seem to need vacuuming!
