It helps me sleep at night. (Oh man Belle would be GREAT here)

Oh good. He can multi task. That was a good thing. Points to him. And the fact that he picked up what she was doing by the backwards walking suddenly. When he asked if she were jumpy too, she frowned, turning around again to be at his side and not ahead and facing him. She held one hand tightly around the strap of her small hand size bag. Nothing in there would be helpful.

"Not exactly jumpy." She said at first, but glanced at him as he juggled the puck. "But I noticed you seem to have picked up on something." And then he stopped, sending the puck off down the way. She stopped as well, holding her breath and opening her ears.

There were sounds of the puck... but then something else. She took a slow, silent breath, eyes narrowing as she looked down the row of shelves they were walking along. "Okay..." time to go, right?

The creature on their case stopped movement now as well, though his tail swished, and there might have been a low growl, about fifty feet ahead of them, just near another opening...
