the voice startled her, though she tried her best not to let that show, other then the speed at which she spun around towards the voice. Was it the Plague Doctor? Had she missed him somehow in the shadows? Her eyes tried to focus on the person in the shadows.

There was a mask at least, but it didn't seem right. Her eyes narrowed, not in a mean way but in a studying kind of way, trying to see who it was.
