She's worried. Really worried, but she watches him a moment, then takes off, looking for things she's collected before. She has a stash hidden here and there, and before long she returns with some things she's gotten before.
Coming to the bed side again she dropped a few things off, as well as bandages and... a small white cardboard box of cookies and two oranges. She sits those to the side and knees on the bed beside him.
She hurts. There are aches and pains all over, but he wont notice. He wont notice because she's very good at hiding her pains. Or tries to be. She instead works on him.
She moves to take one of his hands, bringing it to her and slowly, slowly, unwrapping it. "That was the past, Grant. They messed with you so badly, love, but that was the past. No more walls. No more rope."
