He kept a distance since apparently the unicorns were like Elves in that they could sense these things at a glance. He wasn't ashamed of being married but he was rather amused at the whole situation. And disappointed, he had been looking forward to having a unicorn friend.
"Is there anything I can do then?" he asked, not wanting to startle the unicorns by walking closer. He had never met Tauriel but the redhair was rather startling. But he would talk to her later, he wondered if she was from Arda as well. "I'm pledged so I'm not going to be able to get close to them."
