Alec wasn't sure if the New York he knew was the same as the one he'd grown up in. A Mundane wouldn't know about demons but neither would someone from a different version of the city. That would be more confusing if he hadn't visited an alternate reality. At least there was a good point to nearly dying in that place.

"My siblings are still in New York. My parents are - " His voice trailed off as he tried to figure that out. He was still angry with Robert but that wasn't important now that Alec was literally a world away from his father. Maybe distance would allow him to sort all that out and forgive Robert. "I'm not really sure what they're doing now. My father was leaving." He finished the sentence with a shrug. Alec was more concerned about how his mother was dealing with things than his father.

"We were some of the brought in." Alec grinned when he remembering his sister, snark over the 'we'. Izzy had been disgusted that they'd become one of those 'cute couples.' Pausing he nodded toward the cat-eyed warlock that was discussing magic with the others. "I think Magnus and I were some of the first that arrived."
