Rose nodded and gave him a quiet grin. "Sounds... complicated. But good complicated! The kind where you know there's hope left." She tugged out her key again, quietly squeezing it as tightly as she could in her hand. "The Doctor's... Well he told someone he was ood, I don't know if he's telling all people that or --" she shook her head and laughed, "But he doesn't have the tentacle mouths. When I find him, I'll tell him I told you that he's an alien and what ood look like."
She took a deep breath and leaned carefully on the chair. "He's the only one of his kind left. So meeting others like that -- is really surprising!" she grinned, softening it slowly, "But good surprising, yeah? I told Will to tell him he's not alone, dunno if he'll get what the message means but..." She bites her bottom lip. "I watched him die thousands of times. That regeneration thing doesn't always happen, and watching that..." her eyes dimmed. "He told me the walls the the universe were sealed. He had to burn up a supernova just to send me a hologram and psychic message." She big her bottom lip again.
"To be honest... I'm really glad he's here, but I'm a little worried too. Someone else who knows him said he's twice the age as when he and I first met, and... that's good! It means I made him survive. I did something even he couldn't, more'n a dozen times. But his people had laws about time travel and I broke them with the paradox, 'm pretty sure I broke them with the dimension cannon..." a deep breath, and Rose let it out slowly, giving the key a final squeeze before tucking it away again. No matter how angry they were at each other, they'd work it out, the TARDIS was her home, wasn't it? Her voice drops even quieter. "I made my choice a long time ago. My Mom remarried the other universe Peter, my father that wasn't, but he saved my life, and I repaid it by running away again. A fourth time on her." She ran a hand through her hair, quietly getting up from the chair and offering Trunks a hand up and a last hug for the night. "I don't have any regrets or doubts. Stars are goin' out and the only one who'll know how to fix it is him, but--" she gave Trunks a wry grin. "If he's two thousand years old now, I've no idea if he'll even remember me. And he might be mad at me either way. Wish me luck, okay?"
She'll give him a last hug and add, "Never easy saving timelines, but as long as it's fun and everyone you meet is worth it, yeah?"
