Take all the courage you have left
Who: Loki Laufeyson, Open
What: One small godling shows up in the library
When: Now
Where: Main Hall
Warnings: Loki being Loki?
He wasn’t sure where he’d ended up. At first, the sight of the shelves of books made him think he might have somehow ended up in one of Asgard’s libraries, but aside from the sheer amount of books he could see, this library was somewhere completely new and unfamiliar.
“Hello?” Maybe it would have been wiser to remain silent and explore alone, but something about the reminder of the soft plea that he’d heard before, the plea for help had him seeking out others. Prowling around the reception desk, looking for some sort of clues, notes, any signs of a struggle. The cracks in the floor under his feet are something strange to be sure, but without more information about what happened he can’t say if they’re part of the problem or just a sign of a really uncaring maintenance crew.
Unable to find anything on the desk with an address or hint where the place was, like a business card or flyer, he slipped his phone from his pocket. It wouldn’t be perfectly accurate, but turn on the GPS, pop onto the map app, and he’d at least get a ballpark estimate of where he was-
Network not available.
“Not available? That’s madness.” The young godling’s mouth pulled to a frown, brows furrowing as he started to walk, looking for somewhere he could get something, especially when he found there wasn’t a single wifi network in range.
